Denmark <==> Copenhagen

Reading the Rough Guide, I don't see much to visit in Denmark, outside of Copenhagen. That is, Copenhagen with a couple of out of town day trips by the supposedly excellent rail system.

The biggest draw to me would be the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, which in 2014 is July 4-13. That's much later than I had figured on visiting; had been thinking in terms of late-May start, home by early July. But suppose we made Copenhagen the last stop on the trip rather than the first as I'd assumed...?

The Research Begins

Get out the purple binder; gonna go look around Scandinavia. Blog headings, to be changed as we move from country to country:

Dk, No, Sw are 9 hours ahead (older) than PST. Fi is 10.

Only Fi uses the Euro. Dk, No, Sw each has its Krone (Sw. Krona). As of Oct. 2013, all three are approximately Kr6 == $1 (Sw 6.6, No 6, Dk 5.5). For a rough conversion, divide a price by six. Expect to pay Kr1000 for a hotel.

Internet and ATMs are universal.
